Platform Overview

[ARCHIVE] ("we," "us," or "our") is a music ecosystem built for independent artists, producers, curators, DJs, and music industry professionals. [ARCHIVE] provides tools for artist discovery, collaboration matching, playlist pitching, digital product sales, AI-powered production tools, label management, community engagement, and more. By accessing or using [ARCHIVE] (archivemusic.app or any associated domain), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use [ARCHIVE]. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the platform. By creating an account, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate, that you are legally authorized to enter into these Terms, and that your use of [ARCHIVE] will not violate any applicable law.

User Accounts

To access core features of [ARCHIVE], you must create an account. You are responsible for: • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials • All activity that occurs under your account • Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform in any way.

User Content

Users may upload or share content including music files, audio previews, cover artwork, profile images, posts, and messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant [ARCHIVE] a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform and in our marketing materials. You retain full ownership of your intellectual property. You are solely responsible for ensuring your User Content does not infringe on any third-party rights — including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use [ARCHIVE] to: • Upload or distribute content you do not own or have explicit rights to • Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users • Engage in spam, phishing, or deceptive promotional practices • Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse platform systems • Sell, rent, or transfer your account to another party • Use automated bots or scrapers without written permission • Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code • Circumvent fan-gate verification, access controls, or payment mechanisms • Impersonate another artist, user, or [ARCHIVE] staff member Violations may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.

Discover & Matchmaking

[ARCHIVE]'s Discover feature uses profile data — including genre, location, age, and Discord roles — to surface relevant artist profiles to other users for collaboration and networking. By filling out your Discover profile, you consent to your information being shown to other registered users on the platform. You can control what information appears by editing your profile at any time. [ARCHIVE] does not guarantee collaboration outcomes, responses, or any specific results from using the Discover feature.

Playlist Pitching

[ARCHIVE] facilitates playlist pitching between artists and curators. Curators are independent users — not employees or agents of [ARCHIVE]. We do not guarantee placement, response times, or outcomes from any submission. Artists agree not to spam curators with repeated or unsolicited pitches. Curators agree to engage with submissions in good faith and may decline any submission without providing a reason. Abuse of the pitching system — including harassment of curators — may result in account suspension.

Digital Shop & Sales

[ARCHIVE] allows artists to list and sell digital products (drum kits, sample packs, project files, etc.) directly to buyers. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of product listings, file quality, and the right to sell the listed content. [ARCHIVE] takes no ownership of products sold and is not liable for disputes between buyers and sellers. Payments are processed via Stripe. All sales are final unless otherwise stated. [ARCHIVE] reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines.

Label Dashboard

[ARCHIVE] offers a Label Dashboard for record labels and music management companies to manage releases, royalties, campaigns, and submissions. Label subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Label tools are provided "as is." [ARCHIVE] is not responsible for financial, legal, or contractual decisions made using platform data.

Third-Party Services

[ARCHIVE] integrates with third-party services including Spotify, Discord, and Stripe. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies. [ARCHIVE] is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of any third-party service. We do not endorse any third-party service linked to or integrated with our platform.

Intellectual Property

All platform design, code, branding, logos, and original content created by [ARCHIVE] are protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from [ARCHIVE]'s platform assets without prior written consent. Your music and creative content remain your property — we only use it to operate and promote the platform as described in these Terms.

Disclaimer

[ARCHIVE] is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or the accuracy of any platform content. Use of [ARCHIVE] is at your sole risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, [ARCHIVE] and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of [ARCHIVE] after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
